When looking for Dogue de Bordeaux puppies for sale, be prepared to have a very large dog once full grown. Also known as the French Mastiff or the Bordeaux Bulldog, this breed will ultimately weigh somewhere between 120 and 145 pounds. This mastiff is short and stocky with a wrinkled forehead that tends to be quite broad.

The Dogue de Bordeaux is a naturally ferocious breed, but breeders have bred them in order to produce a softer temperament. As a result, most are quite calm. They are also very loyal dogs and tend to be quite patient. At the same time, they are confrontational toward strangers and make for a great guard dog.
