The Belgian Malinois breed were created in Malines, Belgium and were, therefore, named for their city of origin. These dogs share the same lineage as the Belgian Tervuren and the Belgian Sheepdog. The Belgian Malinois is a medium size with a short coat, making them quite easy to care for.
