French Bulldog Stud Fees
If you are breeding rather than buying, the other number that matters is the stud fee. Across
133 French Bulldog stud listings on K9Stud, the median fee is
$1,250, ranging from $100 to $5,000.
Fees at the upper end generally reflect titled, health-tested, proven studs; the lower end tends to be
younger or unproven dogs. Many breeders also accept a puppy back from the litter in place of a cash fee.

What Affects the Price of a French Bulldog Puppy?
- Pedigree and titles. Puppies from champion, working-titled, or imported lines sit at the top of the range. Pet-quality puppies from untitled parents sit at the bottom.
- Health testing. Breeders who screen the parents and provide documented clearances price higher — and that testing is the single best predictor of lower vet bills later.
- Registration terms. Full registration (breeding rights) costs more than limited or pet-only registration.
- Age. Older puppies and started adolescents are often discounted simply because they are harder to place.
- Location. Prices run higher in high-demand metro areas and lower where local supply is plentiful.
- What is included. Vaccinations, microchip, health guarantee, starter kit, and shipping are sometimes bundled into a higher price.
A note on very low prices. Listings far below $985 are worth extra scrutiny.
Unusually cheap puppies can signal missing health testing, early separation from the dam, or an outright scam.
Always speak to the breeder, ask for documentation, and see the puppy with its mother.

Current French Bulldog Puppies for Sale
How we calculated these numbers
These figures come from real asking prices posted by breeders on K9Stud — not
survey estimates. We analyzed 150 French Bulldog puppy listings created in
the last 24 months, excluding listings under $100 or over $20,000 as data-entry errors.
Where a breed has less recent data we widen the window (up to five years) to reach a usable
sample, and the window used is always stated above.
“Median” is the midpoint; the “typical range” spans the 10th to 90th percentile.
One caveat, stated plainly: these are asking prices, not confirmed sale prices, so the
final agreed figure can be lower. Treat them as a well-grounded market benchmark rather than a quote.
