Wolves-Mum, I adopted a 10 year old Black Siberian Husky in 2019. She stayed with me throughout all life challenges and still proves very loyal. She superseded all expectations and adapted to a smaller dog living in the house in spite of her intensity and high prey drive. I am very proud of her and I entertain the challenges of creating a pack for her to mingle with. She rarely speaks, has a very obedient, and shy temperament and thoroughly enjoys interacting with other animals. She also enjoys frequent long walks. I have read about the necessity of performing stewardly precautions for wild animals as a part of the household. To say that wolf dogs are a gem and a dagger is what would say is a part of their inherent value to teach humankind how to live. I mean that they need a tall fence, preferably enclosed, 24 hour 365 access to food and water, 2-3 times a day of vigorous exercise, vet expenses put aside, and a large yard that doesnt allow escapes. That said, I still have some work to do on the backyard fences. However, I am always glad to stop by to give my love to wolf-dogs, my generous teachers.
