Indy - Siberian Husky Female Dog in Plano, TX

Indy is a beautiful, well-behaved, and energetic female. As most Huskies are intelligent, she picks up on dos-and-donts so quickly I get lazy spending time training her on obedience although she learns tricks easily. She loves her daily walks and keeps excellent muscle tone at over 2-years-old. She has an intense interest in other dogs who quickly see her as alpha. Indy was a stray without a chip so there are no papers on her. I had her DNA tested with Wisdom Panel that reported her as 7/8th Siberian Husky as one of her great-grand parents was an Alaskan Malamute. Turns out to be an excellent mix. She has shorter hair than other Huskies and seems to handle the Texas heat well. In fact, on hot, sunny days she asks to go outside and sit in the sun for 30 minutes or more. The kids love to have her snuggle with them on colder nights. It is a rare week that someone doesnt stop me to comment on how beautiful Indy is and ask to pet her. Children pet her with delight after the initial shock of seeing her as a wolf. We are seeking a similar Siberian Husky male pure bred to mate with her and carry on the desirable traits listed above.
