Billy Bob - registered name William Robert for William Wallace and Robert the Bruce - two Scottish heros and also for my father William and my grandfather Robert - we are the McLachlan Clan- Is just now coming into his prime years. He has been our stud since he was 2-1/2 years old. He has an impeccable lineage. His mother Ipswitch Snip was born in Scotland and is a cattle herding dog. His father Pal is a champion cattle herder. Billy Bob only had a small herd. It was one black hairy pot belly Tiny Point Asian Pot Belly Pig named Peggy Suey. He took his job seriously though guarding her and coddling her. She passed away in April at the age of 14-1/2 and we are all still feeling the pain. Billy Bobs other job is guarding the house to which he has devoted himself. He has a wonderful sweet nature very gentle but he is bonded tightly with us and would never let any of us come to harm. He would give his life to protect us. He is a virgorous breeder producing large litters of smart healthy beautiful and large puppies. It usually only take one shot from his Silver Bullet as my husband Jim calls it and the job is done. I searched long and hard for the perfect stud before I began looking for my females. I found him right before Christmas in 2002 and my husband bought him for me as a Christmas present. I have never regretted it for one instant. He is a full family member guarding the house and us but he is so loving and gentle with us and with our grandchildren who crawl all over him. He doesnt mind a bit. So if you have a beautiful Border Collie girl who needs to be bred you cant go wrong with Billy Bob. He is camera shy so its hard for me to get pictures. I have to hide the camera until the last instant because as soon as he sees it he takes off. I dont know why but he does not like to have his picture made. Call me afternoons and evenings to talk about Billy Bob and the puppies we have ready right now. We have four females and we will not have any more puppies until late fall or winter because they must skip at least one heat before being bred again.
