Soft Coated Wheaten Terriers---“Wheatie’s are Sweetie’s We have been breeding Wheaten’s for 14 years and all of our puppies are very healthy. They are AKC Registered—They are Loveable Pets and have Wonderful Temperaments. The average height is about 18 with average weight 25lbs. This breed does NOT shed We have 4 females and 1 male available born November 26th 2007. They are ready for families who want a pet who as they are great companion and playmates. Our puppies are very well socialized and loyal without being protective. Our wheaten’s are sweet with wonder temperaments. They stay puppies for a very long time and they are always ready to play. Wheaten’s are very attentive and playful without being intrusive. There are a few things that you may want to be aware of 1. You need to have an invisible fence or fenced yard because anybody walking by will become their next best friend. 2. They are NOT car smart. 3. They will jump on people to give them kisses and hugs. They can be trained not to jump but it is in their nature. 4. They are not watchdogs. As puppies they look like a darling little bears. They are very attentive and loveable. As adult dogs their hair turns a blondish apricot. It is very beautiful with some waviness. They do not shed and require grooming every few months. We require that puppies be spayed or neutered within one year to ensure the quality of the breed. We ask for an additional $100.00 deposit to be returned after we receive verification from the vet. We prefer to keep the puppies until they are about 10 weeks old. We have found that they are very stable confident almost trained by their mother and ready to go to a new home after this time.
