| we are looking for a puppy for christmas time i am not sure what breed to look for ? i have 2 children 7 and 11 and i was thinking about a beagle..what do you think?

| Ive raised dogs for more than 45 years. Beagle would not be my choice for a pet. What do you expect from a pet? where will it stay? Why do you want a dog? Alot of questions need to be answered before deciding which breed to buy? What is your budget for purchase and maintenance?
