| biting when playing and digging

| I have a 6 month old German Shepherd and he is always biting when he want to playmy wife and kids and when he goes out side he is always digging. If I leave his collar and leash on he is fine. Any Ideas?

Take your dog for a long walk, if he has the energy to dig, you did not exercise him enough, biting is a puppy behavior, you want him to stop grab him by the ear and tell him to knock it off.
