We here at Tuff Stuff American Bulldogs offer Superior Quality American Bulldogs pups from parents which are chosen for their wonderfully warm and compassionate temperaments excellent working ability substantial bone and body type with intelligence . We produce pups which will mature to be large and substantial and will have the beautifully expressive large blocky head-type that we love in the American Bulldog. I do not only breed for the show rings . But for a multi-functional dog that will do any job given to him/her. Tuff Stuff American Bulldogs does not consider any of our puppies to be of only pet-quality dogs here because my main goal is to be a family pet with an emphasis on health and temperament. But also dedicated to producing top quality working American Bulldogs for Schutzhund sport home and family. Or to do any task that is asked of them. Our American Bulldogs are our passion. We are dedicated to the breed and are determined that we will make it better by our participation. We have worked very hard and made difficult decisions that have brought us to this point in time. We are proud of what we have accomplished Each generation has been a stepping stone to improve on the past. Breeding healthy American Bulldogs that are sound of mind and body is our first priority - while maintaining proper breed type and conformation.
All of our puppies are raised in the house and parent dogs are not kennel dogs but members of the family. This is a small select breeding program of Quality not Quantity to bring back the true American Bulldog. A multi-functional dog who is loyal strong well coordinated dog alert and full of life protective and very eager to please his or her handler or family. Yet a loving family companion good with children and other pets yet at the same time fearlessly determined. That has been known to display heroic acts of courage in protecting its master. They are very intensely socialized and handled from day one daily for a well rounded gentle tempered dog. Each puppy and adult is Fed a natural food and given the best start possible. .My guarantee is far more extensive than most others and is honored fully.
We are located in Central Pennsylvania near Harrisburg Carlisle yet are in convenient distance to many major cities including less then 2 hours from Philadelphia Baltimore only 3 from New York City

General Information
Jalerran Siberians is a small show kennel located in Western Pennsylvania near Cook Forest State Park. We are located about two hours north of Pittsburgh two hours south of Erie and an hour east of the Ohio border. Our first Siberian began owning us in 1996 and Potato Chip Syndrome struck shortly afterwards. We maintain a small number of dogs in an effort to provide individualized attention to each. Our three children play a large role in providing proper socialization for the rest of our extended family.
For Names Sake
Jalerran Siberians began as being briefly referred to as Highland Siberians. We chose this name arbitrarily because we lived in Highland township. Upon becoming more involved with the breed and the show scene we learned of a kennel with almost the exact same name - Highlander Siberians. We had already had a website created at that point and decided that the similarities between names probably wouldn’t be that much of an issue. However eventually we started getting email from people who had happened upon our website and mistaken us for the other kennel. And when show entries which had been faxed to the superintendents were not clear they would always put the wrong kennel name in the catalog. Out of the utmost respect the Palmers of Highlander Siberians and the confusion behind the similarities of the names we decided to go with something different.
The new name Jalerran is a combination of the middle names of some of the human members of our family Jane Lee Rae and Ann. We are pronouncing it JA Juh......LERR lair........ AN en or an. It does not appear to be similar to the name of any Siberian kennel were aware of and were hoping that it is not a swear word in some foreign language.
Our Philisophy
Siberians are not the best breed for everyone. It is our expectation that prospective owners become educated about the breed characteristics and show a strong commitment to the breed and maintaining its integrity. Our puppies are raised indoors and their temperaments are thoroughly evaluated. Health screenings are completed routinely in an effort to produce puppies free of health defects. Our primary focuses when planning a breeding are health temperament and conformation - in that order. We encourage people who may be interested in the breed to consider these aspects as well as a breeders policies before restricting themselves to a specific coat or eye color. Breeders whose only goal is to produce blue eyes or certain coat colors are not reputable.

· We have owned/co-owned a couple of American and Canadian Champions over the years.
· We have bred a couple of American and Canadian Champions.
· We have bred/owned a couple of top winning dogs overseas Thailand Korea Hong Kong Latvia Brazil.
· We have bred a couple of dogs that race in sledding/mushing competitions.
· We have bred/owned a couple of dogs that have and have not passed their eye exams and we are open and honest about the health of our dogs.
· We have been through many ups and downs over the years in dealing with the many difficult people in the Siberian Community however we have also continued to meet people who renew our faith that not everyone in the breed is vindictive ‘holier than thou’ and quite simply mean.
