Vanier Peekapoos are bred to be minimal shedding or non-shedding depending on the specific breeding. As an ower of a grooming salon in Argyle, TX 26 miles north of Ft. Worth I found that combining the calm Pekingese breed that I adore and the Toy Poodle breed that I love for their smarts and agility produced some great little dogs for families. Many of my grooming clients owned Poodles that were bred poorly and suffered cataracts at a young age, skin problems, allergies and a whole host of problems. This is upsetting to the parents as well as tough on the pocket book paying vet bills. The pups that I have produced are healthy and bred from champion show lines from both breeds. Being a diligent breeder of CFA Show Persians for many years I found that breeding Peekapoos is challenging. To produce consistency in the gene pool and creating my own look and temperment of Peekapoo is fun. If you are looking for a small, non-shedding, happy, smart and easy to house train dog that will live 20 years without the Poodle ailments and hyperactivity, give me a call.
