We have been breeding GSP since 1989 and take pride in breeding calm, smart dogs that have a strong desire to please and be very good with kids. We are a family that does allot of pheasant hunting so our dogs need to have natural desire and style to hunt as well. We have five females and two males so have puppies available most of the time so check out our website We usually have a variety of colors. We dock the tails and remove the dewclaws at a young age to prevent scarring. We give our puppies 3 shots and worm them 3 times as well. We ask for half the amount down when you reserve your puppy and the remaining due when you pick him/her up or before we ship. We are happy to make shipping arrangements for you if you so desire-you pay the shipping to the airport directly and pay the actual shipping charge, there are no hidden charges for shipping. We also guarantee our pups with a replacement for one year for any genetic defect, if something comes up after that we want to know about it and will work with you to reach an agreement.

SOS kennels is located in the scenic farmlands of Schuylkill Haven, Pennsylvania. We are approx 45 minutes
north of Harrisburg and 5 minutes off of Interstate 81. For 9 years, SOS Kennels has been raising, showing
and training German Shorthaired Pointers. The Weimaraners were started 6 years later as we found that our
passion for the Weimaraner was the same as that of the GSP. We are active in NAVHDA, NSTRA, AKC
HUNT TEST, THE SHOW RING and OBEDIENCE.
Our dogs have been featured at the Harrisburg Sportsmens Show in PA, the PA Outdoor Life Expo and have
been on the TV SHOW Pennsylvania Outdoor Life numerous times. Accomplishments include training our dogs to receive AKC Junior Hunter Titles, AKC Senior Hunter Titles
and even AKC MASTER Hunter titles.
We belong to the German Shorthaired Pointer Club of America and are active in the German Shorthaired
Pointer Rescue. We also belong to the Weimaraner Club of American and are active in the Weimaraner Rescue.
The cost of our puppies depends on the breeding. All pups are sold with a three
year health guarantee and the option of FULL registration. Pups come with tails
docked, dew claws removed, updated shots, AKC registration papers, AKC
certified three generation pedigree, a goody bag and lifetime support. Pups
are also started on crate training, house breaking and wing trainingwe can skip
this stage for those who do not hunt. The price of the pups helps cover the cost
of the excellent care given during the breeding process, weaning process and the
training of the pups.
