Old School Bordeaux is located in northern Indiana in the city of Kokomo. I became intrigued with Dogues at the age of 14 and now, as an adult, this is the first breed that I have owned or will ever own. I would like to give others the chance to get to know this outstanding breed of dog in the same way that I have. With the help of my family I hope to contribute to enhancing the quality of Dogue de Bordeaux being produced today.
Our goal is to produce healthy puppies with good temperment, bone and body structure, correct head type, and height within the breed standard. There are so many great Bordeaux bloodlines available but here at Old School we have chosen to build our program on bloodlines that have strong genetics, which allow our Dogues to consistently produce themselves. We also look for the not so common pedigrees, so if you choose to purchase a pup from us you are not just getting any pup, but a pup with a pedigree combination that is unique. All of our pups are seen by a vet before they arrive at their new homes. They are hand raised and given lots of love all the way up till they leave us at Old School Bordeaux. We strive to make sure all of our pups go to good owners who love them as much as we do.
Some feel as I do that these dogs are the gladiators of the dog world, therefore they should not look like sumos. With that being said, we feel that size and strength are qualities that Dogues should have but we will not sacrifice athleticism and body movement solely to produce massive sized dogs. We feel that too much of the wrong kind of weight can be detrimental to their health. With that being said Old School is striving to produce the complete Dogue de Bordeaux Health, Bone, Type, Movement, and Athleticism

We are breeders of Dogue de Bordeauxs, Bullmastiffs and Rottweilers. Our dogs are our family pets as well as show dogs. They are either Champions or Grand Champions. We show in the AKC and UKC show venues. Check our web site often for news on upcoming litters as we do breed from time to time.
The fall of 2011, will be a busy one as we are expecting our first litter of Bordeaux puppies and first litter of Bullmastiff puppies. We are expecting Rottweiler puppies as we didnt have a litter this past spring and had some people on our Rottie waiting list.

From a litter of 12 we have 5 males and 1 female French Mastiffs available. I am looking for well qualified homes. Pick up only no breeders limited crate time. The pups were born 5.11.07 they are registered and available NOW.
My adult dogues as well as the pups have been raised on a mostly organic diet based from Dr. Pitcairns Natural Health book and supplemented with Innova Large Breed and Karma Organic Kibble. I chose this diet to give the pups the best possible start to life. Titers testing is recommended. They have had two rounds of shots rabies vaccine.
My female Dogue is approx 80 lbs and the male Dogue is
approx 120 lbs both three years old.
Located in the DFW - Texas. $1500 with signed contract.

We are a small family home-based hobby breeder. After watching the movie Turner and Hooch I was completely in love with the Dogue De Bordeaux. Then much to my surprise and delight when I met my now-husband Marc he introduced me to his best friend Hooch. I was simply amazed and at first very intimidated by Hooch and simply couldnt believe how a dog that size could be so extremely sweet and gentle. Several months later we welcomed Cami into our family and now we welcome their puppies.
Our goal is to share the joy of owning such a loving sweet loyal and family oriented breed the Dogue De Bordeaux the Gentle Giant.
