Jaroufa Hounds has bred and loved basenjis since 1977. I breed for loving temperments and for healthy dogs. Currently Im testing all breeding stock for Fanconi Syndrome. This test was developed in July of this year to help stamp out this disease.Litters are carefully planned to insure that pups are healthy happy and ready to bring love to your household.
My basenjis are bred to race and I prefer that they go to homes with this in mind.Although a pet home is also importantall Jaroufa Hounds GO ON A SPAY/NEUTER AGREEMENT.
Puppies are all raised on a raw diet to insure optium health.
