| Should you be located in the U.S you will need to work through the U.S. Department of Ag. There will also be requirements on Rabies shots that he pup will need to have along with a micro-chip. I shipped a Basset to Japan and had to jump through all kinds of hoops and basically decided that it was just to hard to do for example to get a puppy into Japan you first have to micro chip and then at 3 months the puppy must receive a Rabies shot. Three months later the puppy must then receive a 2nd rabies shot and then a blood sample must be forwarded to a lab to insure that the rabies vaccination took. Once that is accomplished you my receive your pups flight physical and produce all documentation to the U.S. Department of Ag. Once that is completed an appointment must be made in the country in which your shipping your puppy so the puppy can be accepted into the country. Miss that appointment and the puppy is quarinteened for the specified period the country may require. Remember the micro chip is the key as everything is traced through the chip number. Miss one step and the whole process must be started again. By the time we got our Basset shipped he was 8 months old
