| i just got a boxer puppy today and she is 9 weeks and i got her around 6 and we had a 1hr ride home and got her situated and i took her out and shes not peeing or having bowl movements and its about 1130 now and she barely drank water and just wants to be held i think shes just tired but the whole not drinking thing is worrying me. other than that she seems to be healthy. is that normal for their first night. oh and they gave her a booster shot before we left and medicine.

| The first day is always traumatic for a puppy... BUT why would they give her a shot and what KIND of medicine right before she left??? Most breeders weather they do it themselves or have the vet do it.. give any shots or worming meds several DAYS before they leave at least... not the DAY they leave... You DO need to keep her hydrated... so make sure she gets some water into her... that is KEY...
