| My puppie seems very scared of me

| My wife and I have a 6 month old female miniature Dachshound she is very smart and is already potty trained but there is a problem. For some reason she has decided to fear me and she has no problem with my wife. I dont abuse her or anything so I dont understand. Is it because my voice is low? I do most of the punishing if she needs it which consists of me clapping my hands and saying no then putting her outside for a little bit. Is this too harsh? Anyways I cant even call her anymore she wont come to me. If my wife calls she comes immediately.... It is very frustrating when I am trying to put her in her crate before we leave. When I call her she puts her little ears down and acts like im yelling at her then she will roll over on her back and curl up her front legs I think this is some kind of submissive behaviour.... and then she wont move. when I go to pick her up she pees I just want her to like me and not be afraid I have never and will never hit her I just dont understand why she fears me. Can anyone give me any advice??

| Try giving her some treats talk real soft. You may have to whisper to her. Maybe she feels you as a threat because you are the one who get on to her and corrects her.
