| According to AKC American Kennel Club the male has to be at least 7 months. I called them personally and recently this year.

| typically, when the testes drop, a male can be fertile. my rule is, 4 month male or older should be kept away from bitches in heat in case of a possible accident-even though may not be fertile till much older. if intentionally breeding, please wait till closer to one year of age or older.

| He is not old enough. He needs to be 8 months old according to AKC to even get papers on the puppies. And sometimes a male is not even ready to breed until he is about 12-15 months old and they get mature enough. If they are very small/tiny studs.
